All teachers are fully qualified and insured members of the Shiatsu Society (UK) with many years of experience as practitioners and teachers.
Tamsin Grainger MRSS (T)
Tamsin has developed her initial Zen/Masunaga-style Shiatsu with counselling skills, and training in:
- Ante and post-natal care.
- Shiatsu for babies and children.
- Shiatsu as part of cancer care.
- Work with those who are HIV positive or who have AIDS.
She has practised Shiatsu in various settings, notably Scottish Widows, The Scottish Office and throughout Fife teaching Baby Shiatsu to Health Visitors for Fife Health Board.
She has two children.

Cynthia Shuken MRSS (T)
Cynthia studied at the Glasgow School of Shiatsu, where she was an assistant teacher for four years.
She has been practising Shiatsu since 1993 and has been teaching since 1995.
She also holds a Certificate in Counselling Skills with Moray House Institute of Education and a Certificate in Gestalt from the Gestalt Trust.
Cynthia’s full-time job involves extensive training and course development.
She is currently studying Somatic Psychotherapy (Gestalt, using developmental techniques) with Ruella Frank of New York.
Cynthia is the Assessment Advisor for the School.

Jane Groombridge MRSS (t)
Jane graduated from The Glasgow School of Shiatsu in 1995 and became MRSS in1999. Jane continues studying Post Graduate practices with the Shiatsu College, Norwich. She has also attained the second level of CranioSacral Therapy training.
