The course will be a balanced mixture of theoretical and practical components, with a focus on experiential learning. Practical skills learned in class will be reinforced with written and practical homework set between weekends and regular constructive criticism is given.
Individual tutorials are offered half way through the course where you will get direct one to one feedback on your development. Assessments are held at the end of the year (practical and written).
Eligibility
Students will preferably have taken an introductory course in
Shiatsu (evening class or introduction day), or have therapeutic
experience from another field.
It may be possible for people to
join the course as complete beginners, subject to an interview
with one or more of the principal teachers.

The 11 weekends amount to 143 hours. Saturdays & Sundays 10am - 5.30pm.

The Theosophical Society, 28 Great King Street. The Theosophical Society is a grand, centrally-located, fully-equipped Georgian Town House. Easily reached by public transport & with free parking.
Payment
Payment is by a non-refundable deposit of £160 (£110 if paid by 30 June 2008); followed by 10 monthly instalments of £126 from September 2008 to June 2009 inclusive. Both new and mature students are welcome.
The total cost for year 1 is £1,420 (or £1,370 if paid by June 30 2008).
The course runs over 11 weekends.
